This course is designed to introduce people to Jesus, his life, and his ministry. The course was written to be used in a group environment and as such consists of leader notes and group notes. "The First Step..." is a text based on this course and can be used by individuals to learn more about Christ.
The course is broken up into six parts, and should take six weeks, or sessions, to complete. Each part deals with a specific aspect of Christianity and should be tackled on it's own. The course first of all shows us who Jesus is and what Jesus has done for us. It then moves on to describe how we can get to go to heaven and also how to become a Christian, and how we can be sure that we are Christians.
Although this course is designed to introduce non-Christians to Christ and to teach them about him, it is also a good course for established Christians to use in order to return to the basics of their faith.
